Colors for the Health & Family sector are green and blue; the form is very organic and feminine, adding to the overall ambiance of the sculpture. A blue dichroic heart bursting with love adorns the body...
Opaque glass comprises the bulk of the form; cathedral glass was used for the "aura" at the right side and lends a bit of magic to the composition.
The fused glass portion is 15"h x 7.5"w x .25"d
Overall dimensions of the entire piece are 24"h x 8"w x 4.5"d
The base is raw Travertine, honed and unfilled. The metal support is steel and was specifically designed to cradle this piece - it, too, is raw, finished with a clear wax.
The glass lifts easily out of the stand for transport/shipping; vinyl caps protect the glass from the metal stand and hold it securely in place. $425
